End of August, I'm taking a 3.5T recovery truck to collect a Citroen near Cambridge & bring it back to East Sussex. As the truck will be empty going there, does anybody want anything large shifted around about that time. It would have to be either on the route or near to it as I'm only hiring the truck for 24 hours.
PM me.

Re: Empty recovery truck going to Cambridge
'Y' regd red Xantia estate, 74K miles, no MOT or Tax, two owners, FSH, needing minor fettling for test, just two easily fixable items. I'll either keep it & sell Diesel Donkey or offer it on here to other Xantiaists to enjoy. Cleanest estate I've seen for a long time, none of the usual problems like minor rot or parts wearing out, no faded or flaking paint. Very unusual for a red un!
As I'm using a flatbed to recovery it to my Alpine lair, I'll be empty going, which strikes me as a bit wasteful. I dont mind a minor deviation on the route to collect the car, as long as I can do it all within 24 hours.

Re: Empty recovery truck going to Cambridge
Hi John, I've no fixed date when I'm going as yet. There is no rush on either the sellers or my part, as I'm waiting on a load of new spheres appearing, redundant stock which includes C5, XM, all Xantias including V6 & Activa, CX & some GSA.
I'll give you a nudge when I'm going, in case I can help. Have I still got your phone numbers? Are you still near Leigh or have you wandered off again?
