Haven't the foggiest personally but I change mine at the same time as the oil, oil filter and air filter. Change the cabin (pollen) filter every second or third time.
Every six months-ish.

Most are now 3 years or or 36k ish to be exact im not sure on a 2.2.

However this does seem a lot and i suspect most owner mechanics change them every year or second year.

I just change mine every 12500 miles when I do an oil change, for the cost of the filter, it's hardly worth not doing. 2.0 8V 90BHP HDi by the way...

If your fuel filter is the same as mine, the locking ring can be a challenge to release and re-tighten.
Previous C5 was no bother, just a tap with a small hammer, piece of wood interspersed to avoid cracking it (fatal and common).

Bought one of these oil filter pliers and it works a treat.

I had to change the ones on my CXs every 20,000 otherwise the engine would eventually stop but the 25,000 mentioned by Lighty would seem reasonable.
