Reluctor rings are not expensive;

Fitting them is not difficult (apart from undoing the hub nut, that is!). This link could prove helpful (and a few laughs);

For ball joints do a search on eBay for Delphi or Lemforder. I found Lemforder ones for £12 about 4 months ago. Both are good quality.

Beware the very cheap £2.99 jobbies, they are rubbish!

It's not the buying of them it's the changing of them. Mike, are you sufficiently tooled up for the job?

Maybe Moog can synthesise one for you Mike...

Tools. You require a very meaty balljoint splitter for the lower swivels and then the special castellated tool to remove/replace them and a 36mm socket to fit the hub nuts and special swivel tool on the end of at least a 4 foot breaker bar...

Also a big soft-face hammer (to knock the hub assembly off the end of the strut) and a selection of cold chisels and punches to raise stakes on the swivel. A big club hammer too is handy for driving the aforesaid punches and chisels...

Oh, and a big vice to hold the hub whilst you replace the swivel!

Having a very long breaker bar is the real secret to making this job reasonably easy..
