Are you locking the car with the key? I think the alarm is arming as this is usually what happens when the alarm is activated

I am locking it with the key.I have been unable to lock it and and unlock it with the central locking.I thought i was getting round a problem, seems i am causing it.Can the central locking be re set? The battery has not been disconnected , but i have had some of the fuses out.

Many thanks for the reply

EXECELLENT!! That's that solved....

Next, disconnect battery, and leave disconnected for at least 2 hours , this will allow the bis to reconfigure when you reconnect the battery.

Once the time has elapsed, reconnect the battery and use the key fob to secure the car and I hen unlock it again (if you have a second fob, then use this to reopen the car).

So basically:

Battery off

Wait 2 hours

Battery on

Key fob 1 lock car

Key fob 2 unlock car
