Noooooooo!!! and that comes from a fellow Activa and C1 owner. Give me a few moments Mike and I'll post them up. I think I have them on my web server else I'll have to scan them...

Mike,

They are pictorial and schematic. There are three of each, one the schematic, another is the harness (loom) diagram) and the third is for the location of parts.

Here it is for the immobiliser:

MK2 RGX Immobiliser Circuit

MK2 RGX Immobiliser Harnesses

MK2 RGX Immobiliser Locations

Injection ECU:

MK2 RGX Injection Circuit

MK2 RGX Injection Harnesses

MK2 RGX Injection Locations

Maybe they can be of help Mike. Have a look, study them and all will make full sense very soon :-D

Q1 ... is it possible to remove the ecu plug COVER to expose the pin wiring?
Yes it is Mike, There's a screw at the end and a tie-wrap around the cable entry. Remove both and it should be possible to ease up the cover but the plug must be disconnected from the ECU...

Hi Mike, I've sent you a PM.

Have you contacted Mandrake about your V6 as he's on the lookout for another one & at 95K miles it must be reasonably good? 8-[

When I had my problems with the immobiliser (car cranking, but it didn't start) the cause was a corroded connection (al-cu) on a red about 3-4mm diameter cable under the engine fuse box... It just happened suddenly without any previous symptoms. Mine is a left hand drive mind you.

This is how I aproached the problem...

I meassured every pin in the cabin fusebox (ignition on). One cable from multimeter to fuse pin an the other to ground. Mark value. Change pin (the same fuse), mark value. You should get 0,0 or 0,12 from each pin. If you get something else (in my case I believe it was somethin like 0,3 or 12,3) that's your problem. Then I traced from the wiring diagrams which cable feeds the pin in question. And it was one (the same) cable responsible for the three pins that were showing odd figures. Luckily evers cable has a unique mark so I just found the right one and managed to trace the corroded part. Corroded part meaning where two parts of the cable are put together and soldered (not connector like to relays or ecu).

Sorry for my bad english explanation, but it's not my native language... 8-[

Mike, that fusebox is a well-known probelm that can cause exactly the fault(s) you have... Swap it and it's possible all your fun will go away... Generally, most fuses will be alive but some won't be...

I do have the fusebox layouts and diagrams you need but not up on my webserver. I'll need to scan them. I may be short of tine this evening but I will try to get it done as soon as I can...

That was where my cable was corroded! It was one of the red (pink) one, they are a bit thicker from the others... I was just fidling the cables and one part stayed in my hand. Try to see if any of the cables are soldered together. You should see black insulation and try to rip it apart there...

Here are my readings:

Image

I just went through the wiring diagrams and found out which wire is sending electricity (+) to fuses. Came to a conclusion that only one wire is responsible for all those fuses that readings were incorrect. My thinking is that it's highly possible you have a similar problem especialy when your car was sitting quite for a while...

Just a thought.. I remember that a friend of mine who is a car electritian "bricked" (+) to fuse 25 (body computer) from a fuse that had correct voltage (12,0). Used a piece of cable and wired it from fuse to fuse. It's recommended to wire another fuse in the middle of the cable just to be sure you don't burn something! It was just s temporary solution so that I could use the car as I need it daily.

Had a quick look through the wiring and if I remember right it was cable BMF1 or BMF4B, one of the thicker red (pinkish) one. Try to identify the marks...

Mike, VJ is a colour code for Vert/Jaune or Green and Yellow.

I'd not worry about the CPH just yet Mike but if you really want to it can be got at (just) after removing the glove box... It's fiddly and hand-skinning.

I very much doubt you'll find the fault there..

I'm home today, expecting a consignment of XM Strut Tops back from KingAS so later this morning I'll scan up the MK2 fusebox diagrams Mike...
