Just checking I bought the right Wheel Bearing fora Xant

Post by ecohouse1 »

Just ordered new wheel bearings for the front of my 99 T plate TD Estate(Mk2)

Noticed on the invoice it says TD Estate 1.9 94- 98. - They look about right with the split inner bush.

Did they suddenly change the bearings on 99 cars?

Cheers

Alan

Wasn't '94-'98 that odd period in Xantia history where S2 cars had some common parts with S1? - ARB drop-links for example.

I'm pretty sure all Xantia had the same front wheel bearings Alan.. just make sure you don't get the ultra cheap ones.. I did last December and 9000 miles later the drivers side needs doing again.
Who are you going to get to change the bearing Alan?. All my usual engineers are away on holiday and mine needs doing fairly quickly .. its drowning out the radio!!
