Original BIRTH strut tops? (Xantia)

I'm beginning to look for Strut tops, mostly just the NS one for now, left a message on the top sticky thread but I don't know if folks always notice the sticky updates.

It seems as if it is possible to buy genuine strut tops from Citroen along with new cylindar protectors, £150 plus vat (£180 each side)!
I bet my car is only woth that much!

plus id have to pay a mechanic or risk the job myself.

I've noticed Original BIRTH branded tops for £103 inc, are these any good??

my other option course is find used tops

or sell/scrap the car.

I don't think I've seen anyone mention them before.

The thing you need to make sure of is the hydraulic feed pipe hole diameter to ensure it matches your car.

Thats the one I'd seen, was suprised I'd not seen them mentioned here unless new product/import. :-S
