Very cheap and easy to fit. Not so the radius arm bearings though.

The dog-bone itself is £3-4 IIRC, and not too difficult to fit, but BE CAREFUL whilst you are working under the car - have it propped on axle stands or blocks of wood. It could alternatively be the metal arm that connects the dog-bone to the anti-roll bar, either broken, or (as in my case a few years ago) the bolt that clamps the metal arm to the anti-roll bar wasn't quite tight enough, allowing the clamp to rotate slightly.

You currently only have manual control over the height because the dog bone is not connected, so the auto height correction cannot work.

Can I still drive it need it for work can't borrow my mum's car she's on holiday. When the car is on drive mode it won't sink down while going over bumps etc?

Have a look under the car when is set on high.. don't go under it.. you might just see the "dogbone" hanging down.. it might not be broken, but may have just slipped off its mounting.. in which case you could try, after putting the appropriate axle stands in place, pushing it back on to its ball.
If it pops again you'll probably have to buy a new one and if that pops chances are that the ball has worn down and you'll need another.
I'm running round with a cable tie holding the new dogbone onto the ball as I haven't had time to swap over the height corrector assembly.
Hope this helps.

Dog bone part number 5291 03 shown as £2.64 inc VAT on Service Citroen. How do I know? For the first time in 20 years of Citroen Ownership my rear dogbone popped off on Sunday. Pushed it back on but it did the same again 20 miles later on Monday morning. Popped it back on again and then put some wire round it to hold it on when I got to work. I would not drive the car any distance at all with it either down on the bump stops or up on the high setting. Not only is it likely to do some damage the car is seriously uncomfortable and to my mind dangerous to drive as any slight bump has it bouncing all over the place. When it came off the 2nd time I was on the motorway and had to drive 4 miles to get off and to a safe place to fix it. I really didn't enjoy that 4 miles at all and certainly wouldn't have wanted to drive any further than absolutely necessary.

You might be best asking old-guy for an anti roll bar clamp. Estates have thicker anti roll bars so a hatch clamp wont fit the bar and wont clamp up.. I changed a clamp tuesday morning on a hatch. The rod had broke the dogbone was unharmed.

Xantia suspension ALWAYS stays up on top even when braking!

However, it will drop when on driving position. Rear brakes work through the brake valve, and pressure is always released from the rear when the pedal is pressed...
