Is anybody able to access/provide me with/workout the code for the original Philips tape deck in my car please?

The E bay ad has vanished but less than a year ago Evans Halshaw Citroen, Leeds, were offering original codes from chassis or reg. no's for £2.50, parts dept IIRC.

Yep, I got mine from the parts dept. I didn't pay for it, but that's because I was a regular at the time.

Just pop in to your local dealer and ask. Like most things they have an RRP, but in the case of radio codes the cost to the dealer is minimal, normally part of their annual software subscription.

If you're polite and the dealer is helpful there is a good chance they'll tell you for free, the only word of warning on older cars, the radio could have been replaced at some point.
