Hi guys,
I have got a Citroen C5 X7 2010. Front airbags deployed and had to replace the whole dashboard and driver's airbags. With the airbag set I bought I was given a "new" clear airbag module. After fitting everything I tried to remove all errors what was successful however the airbag fault error keeps coming back straight after the ignition on.
I spoke to the guy who actually sold the airbags for me and he said that the problem is in the computer which doesn't see the previous airbag module just the new one and it needs to be reconfigured to the new module instead and everything will be working fine.
Does anyone know how do I do it ? Should Lexia be able to cope with that ?
Thank you very much for your help in advance.
Regards,
Thorvald

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. I'm based in Birmingham. Can I ask a question on what option I should actually look for in Lexia to get that done ?
Thank you!

Thorvald

You could always start by looking for your nearest Lexia owner on this list, to see if they could help;

Re: Airbag module configuration C5 X7 (2010)
Hi,
Thank you! I do have a Lexia on my own but I'm pretty new to it and I really look for doing it on my own even as an excersise .
I have sent a PM to one of the Lexia owners who is quite active on the forum so maybe I will get a response. In meanwhile if there is anyone else who could advise me about the above that would be absolutely great! .
Once again thank you very much for help!
