You can see (and buy !!) the very reasonably priced <cough> dog guard here:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-GENUINE-C ... 51ae6206fe" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If the rear and front mount locations are the same dimensions then I'd assume it fits in both places.
Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(

Wow, when it's light tomorrow, I shall have to look further into these mountings.

Something I have found with modern cars is that I keep on finding things/functions I never knew existed. Especially in the control column/steering wheel - things like vehicle parameters/radio etc.

Don't know why you have only two at the rear but the covers should look like this....I think,
One each for left and right seats. No isofix in the middle seat.

Just wanted to add that we only use booster seats for the kids right now - the child seats long gone. Probably why I never discovered these things sooner.

Still, I remain in want of a new cover! (I like my cars to be as original as possible...) :rofl2:

Strange that my X7 saloon has an Isofix top anchor point behind the centre seat, just the same as the lateral ones. No brackets in the seat.
I still have to use all types of child seat, having 5 grandchildren ranging from 9 months to 7 years. Never had an Isofix seat of any kind though, always seatbelt restrained type.

@ napoleon - the third pics is very nice for this discussion, that hole position should be used for hanging clothes/suits on a hanger, since the ceiling handles don't have plastic hooks anymore like the previous car versions ... I haven't tried it yet myself, but that should be it ...

This is the tool required for it to work:

I don't know that tool. How strange. Is it Victorian?

As if visibility to the nearside wasn't reduced enough by the B post already.

It's only a tiny little hook built on to one end of the grab handles. It doesn't affect visibility at all. :roll: :rofl2:

It does affect visibility if you right up close to it. :rofl2:

Yeah,but it,fitted up above the window so you'd have to be looking through the roof! Speaking of visibility, or lack of, I quite often drive with the side and rear blinds up if it's sunny. Seems to keep the car cooler without resorting to A/C, which Swimbo dislikes.
