hi new to this..!! bought a 2002 c5 2.0l hdi 110bhp, aux belt frayed and timing belt jumped. mechanic told me to get 8 cam followers i ordered them on line two weeks ago arrived today he said they are hydraulic lifters but it said they were cam followers on the site confused...!!! googled cam followers and got photos of lifters and rocker arms can anyone please explain which i need :(

Rocker arms are what you need, there are probably several broken. you might loosely describe them as cam followers but they are not what old mechanics would describe as such. Have you seen the broken parts?
