My C3 1.4hdi (2007) needs new front pads and discs and I am thinking of doing them myself.
Eurocarparts have a place reasonably close to me and list Eicher, Pagid and Bosch brands in ascending price order plus Mintex which is expensive and out of stock. Eicher look too cheap, but is Pagid any good? Not heard of them but they claim to supply major manufacturers OE.
Alternatively are there any other suppliers you would recommend? Lots on the 'bay don't even say what brand they supply so I don't want to go there.
Last question - any nasty surprises in store if I do the C3 job myself? The last time I did front brakes was on my BX aeons ago. I guess the C3 is entirely conventional even down to using normal fluid.

as in my experience from that lot, it makes no difference to if the parts come in branded ( fake ) packaging,
have you tried GSF

Re: Brake pads and discs for C3, recommended suppliers/brand
Hi there,
Bought mine through ebay (link below) for my 2006 C3 1.6HDi VTR with Bosch brakes 283mm discs - Mintex total £66.17 inc p&p. Other models are cheaper. http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/parts.superstore" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Haven't done the job yet as I'm awaiting delivery of a set of large Torx male sockets to remove the caliper carrier but the job is straight forward.
