@RichardW

Any ideas? I think the second one may disappear if I retest shorty after driving for a while, but the first one?

It's the same thing though... I'd change the FB next. If you know someone with a similar car you could swap it out to see if the fault goes away. If that doesn't fix it, then likely you are looking for a dodgy wire - good luck with that!!

It's easy as far as I know - although I have so far failed to get to it on our C4.... :? It's the top one under the cover at the rear NS of the engine bay. Take the battery off, taking the usual precautions; remove the cover over the fuses; unclip the connectors on the top (4 I think); undo the nut on the main power feed and lift the wire off; release the two clips at either side and lift it out. Refit reverse of removal. AFAIK there is no need to configure the new one once fitted - just check the two side by side, and that all the fuses required on the new one are fitted.

On mine it was 9675877980. And part is dirt cheap (about 50€), at least in http://www.citroen-accessories.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; it was about two months ago.

Not very expensive but would like to try a swap first to make sure it's not a cable.

Do you think it could be a blown fuse? I will check them tomorrow if they are not many.

Nothing wrong with the fuses and the fuse box is the newer one so it seems it has been replaced (although date is Sep 2008)

The only thing I didn't check were the connectors and I've been told that they are susceptible to water corrosion! If there is any evidence of water corrosion, a new fuse box it is. Still under warranty until June so need to have it sorted by then.
