A 'head up' display that you have to stick down in the bottom corner of the windscreen? Not for me thanks - cheap and probably nasty.

Don't really see the point myself for just a speed readout, position is poor also.

I'd rather get something like this, if I ever really wanted a HUD in my car ...

@ sticky - Then put a "ALARM, DON'T TOUCH" sticker on the car and problem solved ... :D ... I wasn't thinking about all the related issues, just about the usefulness of the device ... of course, it can't match C6s HUD, but I'm guessing you could get used to the on-screen navigation information, if you're heavily depending on the navigation device ...

LOL. In the UK? No one cares about alarms. Certainly not the average thief. It only takes a couple if seconds to smash a window and grab whatever is on display.

If at all possible I disable the alarms on my cars. They're just a bloody nuisance. If someone wants to get in, they will. If someone wants to steal your car, they will. Both have happened to me on cars with working alarms. Useless things really.

My current cars have a few handy hiding places. That'll do me.

@ Mike - I wasn't serious, obviously with that statement ... I just tried to match Sticky's previous comment ...

Sorry Vboro, occasionally it's hard to work out who's being serious on forums, especially as there's plenty of people being serious when you think they must be joking!
