Freebie!

Post by tomsheppard »

Due to a change of job, forcing me to relocate this weekend, I haven't time or place to fix my BX estate. I fear that the head gasket, (changed carefully nine months ago[:(]) has again failed.
Here is the deal: This is a lovely car. despite a few minor dents, the trim is all in excellent condition and it is one of the cleanest BXs you've seen in years. I bought it to learn Hydraulic Cits and Have steam cleaned it, serviced it thoroughly and spent money so that it should last a long time. It drives beautifully, floating along French roads at 85 in complete smoothness.
Kreg, Dark met grey/blue Bx 19 TGD estate. Plastic coated pipes and no rust.
6000 ago, Battery, 3 tyres Exhaust system
Over last 6000, screen, wiper blades,
Much touching up, headlight adjusters and new rear lenses.
Clutch cable, front pads.
5 new spheres, new doseur and front struts rebuilt. Rear arm pivot assemblies replaced. Currently running hydraflush (800 miles)
lots of time has been spent on it and I don't want to see it scrapped.
So members, I need a good home for this car MOt 11/12/03, taxed until March, If you can provide one, then it is yours
