I am going to order some parts for my Citroen C4 Hatch, 1.4cc Petrol.
Is there any way, I can find and the OEM part number, and specifications/measurements if the parts?
And generally speaking, what is the right way to make sure the part you order online is the correct part with your car?
Thanks

Re: Reference site/book to find part number?
What sort of parts do you have in mind ?
A good first step would be to sign up for a free account at service.citroen.com - there you can do a VIN number search on your car and look up part numbers (with diagrams) specific to your exact car and its fitted parts/features. It will also give you main dealer prices of parts. (so that you can laugh, and then buy them elsewhere! )

Re: Reference site/book to find part number?
hehe,...Thanks Simon. I am creating an account there.
I am looking for Aux Belt (V-ribbed), in specific. I narrowed it down to two models: 1050mm and 1070mm belts, one is for alternator 80A and the other for Alternator 120A. But I have no idea what is my alternator?!

Re: Reference site/book to find part number?
here is the link for service citroen,
http://service.citroen.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
once you are registered you only need to enter the last 8DIGITS of you chassis/VIN No. into the VIN box top left of the screen,
this will fill the rest in and then everything you bring up will be your car specific,
also this is citroens own parts look up system,
you can alsouse the subscriber service were you pay to use as much or as little as required

Re: Reference site/book to find part number?
Thanks Malcom,
I uses the site and could find the part number I was looking for (a 1070mm belt, for 120A alternator).
The sire is great. With all those diagrams and stuff.

Re: Reference site/book to find part number?
ok no worries
did you look at your car specific characteristics list, near the top of the left hand column,
it shows everything your car left the factory wearing
