That one looks ok and is about the right price too. A lot of UK members buy from easydiagnostics - they provide a good support service too and only sell good kit. They usually do a little deal for Forum members too :-D

Just today tested my lexia and it works perfectly with my Citroen C5(X7) 2.7HDI 2008!
I installed the Diagbox with updates up to 7.62 that came with the diagnostic tool. My computer is about 8 to 10 years old with Windows 7 x86 installed. Everything went smoothly but slowly.

Everything inside Diagbox worked perfectly, including automatic check for VIN and vehicle.

Disabled automatic tyre pressure sensing system and checked what was wrong with my parking sensors. Found out that rear left is broken so have to change that. Also reseted the service counter just for test purpose and run full diagnostic testing.
Everything was changeable, like daytime running lights and what lights it uses, dimmer times, speedometer calibration. You name it. Perfect tool!
Can recommend for C5 X7 owners.

Hi Finguy
Glad to know you have a working Lexia for you 2008 c5 x7. If you did not live so far away I would have come over to see if it would work on my 2011 c5 x7 automatic. Good luck.

I have been attempting to install Diagbox onto an old Compaq running XP 32 tonight. I bought it initially from Stempy and he had it working.
The installation took an age but I got through most of it and filled dealer details and address as required. Now it keeps asking me for a carphone number and I can't get past that step. Any ideas? Thanks.

Which version are you trying to install?
Do you actually have a dealer account?

At the Activation Screen, make sure you have chosen MANUAL activation. What have you then entered into the 'Customer Code' field?
After that stage, when it unpacks the files, it will ask for the details. Just enter * in the Address field, * in the Postcode and 0 in the telephone field and click validate.
It should then be activated. Close Diagbox and restart it; when it reopens, it will auto update to version 7.02.

If this is not happening, you'll need to be a bit more descriptive as to what is or is not happening and whether any error messages are being displayed.

Ah thanks Marc. Instructions were to enter scary01 into customer code which is what I did and put anything in the other fields. I did do manual activation but it keeps asking for the telephone number. I'll try entering 0 and see what happens. Other than that although it seemed to take all night I think it installed ok.

That will likely be your problem then - it usually needs the numeric zero in the telephone field. Everything else seems fine Dave. :)

One other thing. - when it has installed and is activated, make sure you take a copy of your activation key before anything else. If the system deactivates at any time in the future - and this highly likely to happen if you click on some procedures that require a dealer login and code and you don't have one, you will need to copy your key back to restore activation.

Location of the key is:
C:\AWROOT\BIN\FI\APPDIAG.SYS
Copy APPDIAG.SYS file to a safe location so you can replace the original if it ever deactivates. Without this, it will be a uninstall and reinstall!

One other thing to remember. The activation key is created from your LAN/WAN network interface MAC code at the time of activation. If you are activating and you have your wireless adapter or LAN enabled, you will need to ensure the device is also enabled if you ever have to reactivate. The same if you have installed it with the network interface disabled - it would have to be disabled when re-activating.

Dave, it might be worth your while taking a system restore point after you've installed XP and patched it. That will save having to reinstall all the time if Diagbox goes toes up.

All installed and running. Easy Peasy. :rofl2:
All it took was two laptops, three fresh installs of XP and two days. :taz:
All I have to do now is test it on the car....
