Merged Lexia & Diagbox threads

Post by Monkeyfeet »

Hi to all interested in buying a Lexia (I'm one)
Not sure if this has been linked to before but if the sellers' claims are true about PCB quality it might be interesting:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexia-3-Citro ... 3cbf682632

10% off would bring the price down competitively. BTW I'm no expert on Lexias whatsoever and I have no connection with this seller.

I've been looking at that seller and would be happy to combine two sales with you.

A guy on a different forum bought 20 from china , 5 didn`t work and it cost a bomb to send them back , who gets the non working ones ,
or you can get them to send extra to cover broken ones ,
just a warning guys.
For what we are about to receive may we be truly thank full.

That's a cheap kit with 5 cables!

I bought mine over 12 months ago from China with all of the cables like that one and paid £199 for it.

Works perfectly and has had a fair bit of use!

The Birdman - Good point, thanks - if we can get them from a UK seller then all the better, I think.
David - prices seem to have come down a bit, I've seen £85 inc postage from China but then I'd rather pay a bit more hoping for better quality, which sounds like you've got. They range from around £90 to £199 on eBay..........

I don't have enough use for a whole one, but if someone reasonably near (or not, couriers are quite cheap these days) wants to go halves on one, providing it'll work on my 04 plate Berlingo HDI...

I'm not far from you Mike, just the other side of Slough if you wanted to pop over for a Lexia session at some point.

I believe from another mutual acquaintance (who's currently driving around Europe in a VW camper) that you're not far from my place of work in Staines.

If you could spare the time, that would be excellent. I just want to get the Berlingo checked over and make sure there's no faults with it. I can't see that there will be, as everything bar the horn works, and I don't think that's connected to the BSI.

Ah Mr Chapman I presume.

Don't you mean Staines upon Thames?

No problem, give me a shout when you want to pop over, re the horn check the contacts behind the airbag.

After placing the order for three Lexia's with this seller yesterday they were delivered to me this morning, the hardware looks to be of a decent quality so I'm a happy bunny so far :-D

Taken delivery of my kit, quality looks good and the software loaded up nicely, thanks Richard and Jim!
Will post when I've connected to the C5. As I've had a few pm's on this, and given that we got a better deal by joining together, so if the moderators don't mind, maybe post on this thread to announce your interest?
