dunno m8, i can move it freely enough ( just slid along didnt feel like a bearing), hopefully after replacing it will be ok.

when these bearings get all rusty they restrict the spring rotating with the strut, so you get a twanging noise as the spring is wound up then releases

its a twanging sound i have so the bearing should fix that fingers crossed
