Try pressing it again when it stops on the station you want (WAG - never listen to the radio).

The cause is: That is how they designed it, it is a memory scan function
The fixes are: a) press the button again on a station you like.
b) don't press the button in the first place.

There is no cause. That's how it's designed to work. I set the presets on mine and used the other button to move between them.

I dont think I am describing the fault properly, so here goes I had my other Xantia for 8years and to set the radio I scanned for stations and when it got to one I wanted I held the No. 1 button and the sound went away for a second then came back I then started again and did the same until I had 6 stations tuned in, then when I wanted to change stations I used the buttons on the steering wheel until I had the station I wanted and as I have said on this Xantia it just keeps moving from station to station, I hope this explains it a bit better and if I can just say I have the radio instructions that came with the car

I expect it does.

There's more buttons on the S2 car and they are different in operation. I can't remember which does which, but they are definitely not the same as the S1 car. Allan is pressing the button for scanning which does stop if you press it again, but there is another button, possibly the one you use to go to the next track in CD mode which skips between presets.
