Car went in yesterday for mot and passed with three advisories the seatbelts slow retracting,suspension sphere on rear slightly detorated,corrosion on rear discs but the week before it had gone into have the anti roll bars replaced and a new tyre so it cost me £110 to get through mot very happy with that :-) .

Slow retracting seatbelt, mine does that, I have to remember not to shut the door too quick as it gets caught!

They all do that sir!

Both of mine did/do and it is a common complaint.

C5 2006 56k both front belts are slow, I would have a word with your tester!

Someone a good year ago suggested some sort of aerosol spray that would improve things. Might have been Citroenmad?

Silicon Spray .....extend seat belt fully, On last 3rd spray both sides of the belt and move in and out spraying each time, 4 or 5 spays and a good workout does it for about a year

Slow seatbelts are usually caused by accumulated grime on both the belt and its guides.
It's best to remove the trim and give the guides a good clean, as well as wiping the belts with soapy water.
