They do indeed have a list of cars that they will refuse.
They did my first C5 very quickly. Once I had seen how they did it I managed myself after that :)

Smart move. I got a bit of info on the stuff I needed for the Saab Bluetooth, then bought it from a cheaper source and fitted it myself. (Morally wrong but needs must)

When my sidelight bulb went for the first time I went to Halfords to ask if they would change it. He went on his computer but came back saying that they didn't do Citroen C5's. I wonder why? 8-[

my customer with a face lift C5 took his car to our local Hal frauds to have a head lamp bulb replaced,
the D HEAD spent half an hour attempting to fit the bulb, then pulled the bulb retaining clip clean off, and could not get it back on,
so the owner told him to get the F away from his car before he does more damage,

they were going to charge him £6 squid but did not take any money in the end,

he them bought the car to me were i removed the bumper, both head lamps, replaced the retaining clip and new head and side lamp bulbs

Yeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaa, finally fitted the Led's today with the help of my son. The hardest bit was the bolt/screw or whatever it is on the top of the wheel arch, you have to turn it by a half then prize it off while pushing the liner away from it, and then remember to unclip the fog lamp cable plug. All in all it took us about an hour, so thats a nice saving, and picked up the bulbs from the link further up from ebay. Thanks for all the help on this one especially JohnD for the photo, that really helped. :-D :-D :-D

I have changed a couple of those bulbs, the holder comes out when you yank the cables. In fact that is the way handbook tells you to do it. I wear size 8 gloves though...

My car has ba9s-type led-bulbs now, they fit when you file the other pin off.
In Finland we have this thing called Reilu Meininki
