Can someone confirm the fill level on the suspension fluid tank? The level when set to lowest is on the seam of the bottle.

Is it half way in the window on the right of the bottle where the hole is for the clip?

Ps. Leak seems to have stopped, raised and lowered the car today and nothing. :-D

Remove the filler cap and look inside.

The filler is cone shaped and there are a series of long and short slots cut into the sides.

LDS level is the top of the shorter slots with the car at normal height IIRC.

Thanks for the info and picture, a previous post said to check on low setting. I take it the level in your pic is where I need to be?

Thanks.

This is the level in my current C5 and is the same as the previous one, on normal height.
I can only presume that this is correct although there is some conflicting advice with regard to the levels and the height they should be checked at.

How do you find the RP number?

Found the number on the drivers door shut, topped up to the lower cut outs at bottom of filler neck. Took approx 750ml to get the level correct, put cap back on and all works fine.

Was worried the suspension would not work due to letting the pressure out of the system.

The trick to re-pressurising is to loosen the cap with the suspension on its highest setting then re-tighten, then lower it.

It should only need doing with a pump to force fluid into the pump to prime it if it has been run dry.
