What is engine oil volume on a Citroen C3

I want to change by myself the oil engine and filters on my Citroen C3. Who can tell me what is the engine oil capacity on a Citroen C3 from 2009 1.6 HDi ?

You may have to wait a while until a C3 owner sees this and there are very few C3 owners on the forum.
My daughter has one but a different engine.

Sorry I did not know, i am from Eastern Europe and hear a lot of people has Citroen C3, but no one of my frends has 1.6 HDi engine, tipe engine DV6CTED E5

From that same site it looks as though the DV6TED uses 3.8L, none seem to have the E5 suffix.

May help with answers to your questions if you put your location in your profile - City & Country - so other members can take that into account - otherwise they will assume that you are in the UK and base their replies on that.
Also if you put the make, model, engine type etc. of your car in your signature it will appear in every post and save you having to put it in each question or other members having to ask for it before they can offer any solutions.

Thanks for the advice, I did like you said, i had DV6CTED E5 main has a "C" after "6" is not engine type DV6TED.

3.75 litres is about right for a 1.6 HDi - it's a small sump. Make sure you drain it hot from the plug, not with a sucker, allow it to drain well, and use the correct spec low saps / ash oil. They're a bit fussy about the oil these engines....

I found a the how much oil enter in my engine on http://engineoilcapacity.com/citroen-c3 ... ts-liters/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; i ask there if the info is correct and the admin told me after i change my engine oil and oil filter to check the dipstick and see if i most add some extra oil. I will try this, I will come back with an answer after I finish.

All done, i change my engine oil and filters by my self the capacity is approximately 3.70 l after i put the new filter and oil, after 15 minutes I added about 0.1 liters, oil dipstick now shows the maximum, I read somewhere that you must check and fill if necessary after driving 5000 km.
