Re: parking sensors
I have been considering it, I have them on my 406 estate, I opted for the wireless ones, they pick up their power supply from the reversing light circuit, all you have to find for the dash unit is a 12v supply. You do have to angle them correctly, dud to the shape of the rear bumper I was unable to get mine exactly parallel to the ground, they are looking down slightly consequently they will scream their head of at a blade of grass but let you reverse into a wall.

Re: parking sensors
The car has already got them on the rear working through the reverse gear, trying to fit a set to the front
Thanks Rob
Thanks Rob
Re: parking sensors
Deffo fit them on a switch. when they are first switched on they normally beep meaning they would beep every time you pressed the brake. Also it would mean if you were sitting with your foot on the brake at traffic lights etc they would be beeping constantly if you were a little bit too close to the car in front.

Re: parking sensors
A previous owner fitted reversing sensors (powered off the reversing switch) to the blue estate but not enough attention was paid to positioning them:
Needless to say, the system is now permanently disconnected.

Re: parking sensors
Aren't standard parking sensors (forward) always active while the engine is running?
Re: parking sensors
^At least the speakers are always "on", even when the sound system isn't. Very annoying it is.
In Finland we have this thing called Reilu Meininki
