XM rear spheres, any cheapies out there?

Post by lankytim »

The rear suspension on my CM is rock solid so I guess the rear spheres need doing, they were apparently changed within 2 years but look look rusty as hell.

Anyway, anybody got any kicking about?

These don't look to dear.

The centre ones are responsible for the soft ride so don't forget to change them.

Thanks for that,

After poking about my XM today I found that the rear spheres have had valves fitted into the top of them, presumably to regas them. Maybe that would be a cheaper option?

I believe those are probably Valprex valves and if caught in good time they make the spheres easier to regas, new spheres only come out around £20 these days, and people will want to buy your Valprex valves :)
