Having a sort out.. found some strut tops...BUT..

Post by citroenxm »

Running out of space, I decided on a full inventory and sort out and compacting stuff up for more space..

I then came acroos two sets of virtually new strut tops... BUT:

Heres one for you to debate about, BUT before you start look VERY Closely!! I want to say first that the larger feed IS NOT HYDRACTIVE top... but, then, what size do you think it is!

The thread is larger then the 3.5mm top... 8-[

Looking more closely, the left top looks like a deeper drilling, indicating a Series TWO strut top...

:-k :-k

Did they change the size of the S2 non hydractive top feeds...

I don't suppose there was a heli-coil in there? They tend to have odd thread sizes.

No no, its a clean original tap and drill out..

Ive never had a Series 2 late NON Hydractive car to compare the strut feed pipes or the unions..

There was a short lived variant of the Ph2 Hydractive strut tops and feed pipes. About three or so months from memory.
