My 2.0 litre is showing an average of 58.9 mpg over the last 3600 miles but I do drive very gently and live in a rural area, I think 50 mpg would be a realistic average unless driving continually in traffic or with your foot down hard. The 2.2 wouldn't do much more than 40 mpg which is why I got rid of it.

My friend lives in Fuerteventura so maybe things are different there or it could be that you are seeing visitors cars. Might be useful to ask someone you see with a RHD.

I wonder if it might be worth contacting this seller and seeing if they have something you can make use of;

Today I went to the dealer to finalise the deal, and he was proudly showing me a bottle of normal power steering oil that he put into the C5 suspension. When I told him it must be LDS , he hadnt heard of it and insisted that this power steering oil is compatible. I was not sure what harm it would do to the suspension. Nevertheless I dropped the idea of buying it.

However I would like your opinion, what would a normal power steering oil do to the suspension system.

My search for a good C5 still continues.

Hi peter, Can you confirm if this 2.0 litre engine is 8 valve or 16 valve?

This is the 8 valve engine, no DPF.
