Lol did that a while ago on motorway. Turbo comes on and she flies but have to put her in third gear get revs to 3040+ for turbo to kick in

Perhaps faulty MAF sensor.

Well BX you was right again my friend. Bought new MAF sensor fitted it and the EML has stayed off even through 2 hrs of bumper to bumper motorway driving after major accident on M60. Now just airbag prob to sort and then mechanical side to be given a once over before MOT.
