c5 mark 1 repeater indicator

Post by c52002 »

Hi guys, I need help?
The repeater indicator on the passenger side wing has never worked, and I found out why ! there is no wire going to it. I have found a connector from a scrapper and was wondering if it is ok to connect it to the wire loom going into the back of the headlight unit. If you have any tips or advice about this please get in touch.

Many thanks Kev.

The original wire is probably floating about behind the wing :)

all solved! I traced the wire through to the area where the bonnet meets the window screen, there is a plastic bezle with vents in it which goes all the way across the car, if you release this then you can get access to the wire which was there but had been snipped off, I extended the wire and connected a new end to the bulb housing and bingo it all works.

thanks for the replies. Kev
