I/D gasket size

does anyone know the I/D of the mesh ring for part number 179883?

i bought a "kit" but it doesnt include the ring

I know what you mean is missing though at a guess the sealing ring itself.

Don't need the reg.

This is a Partner 1.4 although it should be the same as a Berlingo anyway they are the same car. Bad news seems to be the ring is part of the kit (item 15) though as its item "C" you're after at a guess, the ring seal between the springs section.

I'm sure it *was* available separately at one time though but that may of been 106 / 206 / Saxo etc.

yeah its C, kinda pissed as I beleived I was getting the gasket with the kit, as I don't know the size I'm struggling to find the correct 1.

The only thing I can suggest is here > http://stores.ebay.co.uk/exhaustpartsuk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; , when viewing that seller scroll down a little bit on the left "Shop Search" and search for "berlingo conical" and you'll see some variations of the seal. I don't know them just they seem to have a variety in at a (reasonably) sensible price, you could send them your reg or something I guess ?

Otherwise its phone calls to factors to see if anyone local has one.

I mentioned the situation to the seller and that I was led to believe I was getting the ring and they have send it out and edited their listing.

The link I posted if you do the search it lists three items all are just the rings nothing else.

Not ideal I know.


Regarding your situation, you can probably ask for a refund as you can see the original listing still (and so can Ebay) usually a link near the top in the green box area. I had this happen with an air cooler recently.
