It looks complicated, but in reality its quite simple and well worth doing. Just be sure and get the captive spanner as stated in the thread and be careful not to round off the nuts and also mark one of the pair of pipes which feed the height corrector.. its all to easy to get them mixed up, as I found out.
The cradle is only held on with 2 bolts and the Height corrector spring/rod.. its a bit of a pain to wiggle it out as it'll only come out one way and go in the same way.
Just follow the guide and you'll have no problems.
Good luck Mike.

IF you do seperate the corrector from the cradle pay SERIOUS ATTENTION to the position of the levers in the correct places in the correctors "arm" .. get it wrong and you will be chasing height issues for ages.. its is specific!!

Personally id remove the three high pressure pipes and the return and mark them somehow and remove the whole lot so you can look at it closer..

This is what digital cameras are for - "a picture is worth a thousand words" :)

As my memory's not what it was, I've tried to get into the habit (but don't always remember ) of taking photos before and during dis-assembly to avoid wasting time (or worse) when re-assembling. I also make notes for next time: what I should do differently next time, tricks on how to undo/remove..., tools and parts needed.

Now what was I doing?

Thumbs up on the digital camera. :)

I use the camera in my phone to take photos of pipes/wiring etc before disassembly, that way if reassembly is not obvious (especially if done a few days later) I can refer to the pictures. A great time saver!

quite the opposite actually,

although it can be a good idea to strip, clean and re/assemble the H/C itself whilst your there,

so in a way i agree with Paul

if you wish to leave the H/C in situe undo the two 11mm bolts ( spanner size ) which go through the cradle into the H/C,
then once the cradle is unbolted as Paul say make 200% sure you know how the linkage hooks back into the H/C and linkage/height lever rods on the car
