picasso 2.0 hdi (2004) throttle position sensor

Quick question if anyone can help. Im standing in front of my car looking at the engine,its a rigjt hand drive picasso 2.0 hdi. Im looking for the throttle position sensor and a butterfly that sometimes gets dirty. Want to clean the butterfly and take the sensor off to replace. Cars been plugged in and thats the message I got that I need to do. Thanks.

All on the inlet side so follow the fat pipe from the airfilter, right side somewhere and you will find what you are looking for, on my HDI Xantia I can even see the throttle cable, what you seek is amongst the gubbins therabouts, cant say more, still on familiarisation :wink:
BXs since 1993 built 1.9 TZD turbo, got a S2 Xantia estate, brilliant car! 2013, Xantia HDI LX 110 2000 new car with 122,000, l C2 HDI Rusty rocket, C3 Picasso HDI new to me.

This is getting strange. Picasso 2.0 hdi 2004. Had it plugged in,came back with throttle position sensor problem. Changed sensor and it ran fine for 6 hours or so,I then switched engine off went home for dinner came out 60 mins later to car turning on,idling at normal revs but no response from accelerator pedal at all. Only when car cools right down will it start and run as if nothing was ever wrong. Light is on dash constantly when pedal not responding,light will go off after it cools down and its been running a while. So,to me its a throttle problem thats affected bigtime by the heat.
