Toothpaste (paste, not the gel kind) or Autosol work well.

Second that, but a word of warning - don't be tempted to use a power tool (other than a slow speed polisher) or you'll MELT the surface

Aye, it works cos it's a very mild abrasive - just rub it on with a damp cloth and keep rubbing for a while - toothpaste is cheaper and just as effective though.superloopy wrote:By hand?
Thought autosol was a chrome cleaner?
