NEMO MULTISPACE Servicing

Post by alexfisher »

Hi All - I’ve been down a typical Citroen path. 2CV's, BX's, Xsara, Xantia & my first new vehicle - a Nemo Multispace 1.4 HDi 8v Diesel 2009.
I've always used Haynes manuals for my servicing until the new Nemo: (little shock) they aren't going to make one.

Can anyone advise on the procedure to change the engine oil & filter?
Can anyone suggest a maintenance reference?

Thanks for any info - Alex.

I'd say use a manual for a C3 / 206 or something similar with that engine in.

8v 1.4 is good. Recommend frequent oil changes as the starship intervals are a bit too long I think.

Reasonably easy to service. Might have to pull some bits out the way (coolant bottle on a 206) to get to oil filter.

Fuel filter easy, but its a whole unit (expensive) air filter easy under panel at top a few screws.

Unsure of pollen filter location.
Andy.

Hi spider - thanks for the info. I called the Haynes technical line & they agree their C3 manual is close enough for general engine servicing purposes (C3/Nemo engines not quite identical).
Also, if any other Nemo owners want a manual tell Haynes, they are 'logging interest' - Alex.

I seem to recall they said there was one coming out for the C2 (about a year ago) but as far as I'm aware (I'm not completely up to date) one has not appeared just yet, but the same with that really the C3 manual covers (most) of it.

In case anyone else is stuck without a (Haynes) manual for the NEMO MULTISPACE they might want to consider this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-NEMO- ... 3ccbd627c5" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It only works with XP, VISTA or WINDOWS 7 - 32 BIT (running within Internet Explorer set as default browser).

It took me several attempts to install. It took about 10 hours to install.

It's an ancient & clunky bit of software but seems to contain essential info.
