vibration when pulling away

Hi all

Just bought my first c5 1.8 vtr and love it allready just 1 slight niggle and it is when I pull away in first the car judders . The clutch doesn't slip at all but its almost like I am pulling away in third or fith. I have had a look and all I can find is possibly a mount on the top left of the engine (drivers side) that appears to have a lot of play in it and the rubber appears to be broken or perished but not sure if what I am looking at is normal for this car. This mount has sideways and up and down movement but not stiff to move
Any help appreciated and will see if I can post a pic of the mount if anyone thinks the movement is not normal
