citroen relay 2.2hdi 2009 grey smoke

om motorway went to over take slow car, van shuddered and loss of power pulled over had to be relayed home, started van up and grey smoke was bellowing from exhust. lifted bonnet and engine bay covered in oil but can not find where it has come from. did compression test all fine, removed head all valves ok, had injectors tested all find
re built engine back up started van still have same problem with grey smoke bellowing from exhurst can anybody help me solve this problem

Hello there, did you manage to solve that? If so, what was the culprit? I'm having similar issue with a Citroen Relay 2.2 HDi 2006... Before I start stripping all down...
