C5 2006 electric mirrors not working

Hi all, My electric mirrors have stopped folding in when i lock the car can anyone give me any idea why this is.

I know in the Mk1, with the engine running you keep hold of the "Fold in/out" button for a few seconds (there's no confirmation)...

Stop the car and exit, lock, unlock, get back in start the car, and they should fold back out again automatically, then stopping, getting out and locking should fold them back in again.

You *might* be able to shortcut it with folding them in before doing the long press on the button, but I haven't tried that. The manual is a bit sparse on information on the procedure, and just refers to a long press on the button.. it took a bit of trial and error for me to work out when

Hmmm... Looking in the late 2007+ manual (available online).. it says
"Note: Automatic fold-back of the rear view mirrors can be deactivated. Contact a CITROËN dealer."

So sounds like in the later models (maybe yours, check your owners manual if you can) it needs a lexia session. Unfortunately it seems the closest members with a lexia are over an hour away (Exeter or Bude)!

Maybe silly question but do they fold in and out fine when using the button?

Thanks for that Ben but they dont fold in when i lock the car via the fob or via any other button (if i have one inside the car i have looked) so looks like it might need a trip to see the citroen man!

They have now fixed themselves,dont know how but they now work when locking the car via key fob!
