hi and welcome

why dont you just fit a new pulley end seal to your existing pump, this could have been done in situe

if you send me the last 8 digits of your chassis/VIN No. i will get you the OE price and part No. for the seal

Obvously without hearing the noise i can say for definite but all the DW8 pumps I have had off make a loose clicking noise when turning the pump by hand, the first time i heard that noise thought something was gone inside the pump, a brand new one straight out the box makes the same noise. Was the pump making a noise before you removed it ?
Also have you thought about the immobiliser issue if using a second hand pump ? you will need to strip the security armour off both pumps & fit your coded stop solenoid or get a plain solenoid for it.
