Hydraulic Fluid Return Pipe Question

Post by hamster99 »

Hi All
Just discovered one of the hydrauic return pipes from the front suspension unit on my 2005 C5 has come adrift creating a small but perfectly formed patch on my drive!
It looks like a pretty easy fix once I get the wheel off and reconnect it with some extra flexible tubing but do I have to then do anything specific like bleeding or something afterwards?
Cheers
Rob

if it is the rubber leg pipe you dont need to do anything else but replace or affect a repair

Thanks Malcolm
Does that mean that it hasn't affected my suspension at all (apart from a bit of fluid loss)?

He's a walking, talking Citroen parts list Rob :)

No, I jest but if you want to do the same then sign up to http://service.citroen.com and you too can see parts lists and prices.

You will need to register first and then the parts lists are free to view.
