As the title says, another Xantia is no more
I've had to say a sad farewell to my 2.0SXi, simply because I could no longer afford to run it.
It still had tax, granted only until the end of this month but it was MOTed until November so it still had plenty of miles left in her.
Another thing that stopped me from getting it back on the road was this......
Some little 5h1t who lives beside me decided that he was going to do a bit of artwork on the screen with a chuck of a house brick and ended up with this masterpiece.
Ho hum as they say, not to worry I had her for nearly 9 years and I enjoyed every single mile I traveled in her and she never let me down, apart from the slight problem with the hydraulic pipes a while back but apart from that, I couldn't fault her at all.
Cheers for all of your help when I needed it while I was the fortunate guardian of a truly excellent car.
Shaun.

Now that is a shame and I'm so sorry to hear what happened...
Did you not try to sell the car before presumably scrapping it?
That really is quite a sad picture - seeing the car being led off to it's fate like some condemned animal off to slaughter..
bet it won't be scrapped though with a bit of tax and all that MOT on it so this tale may have a happy ending after all

I think I may have followed you while on my way to work in Birtley on the odd occasion. Your Xantia looks familiar anyway. Shame it is gone.
