Hi all

Had car 2 weeks but not sure when oil was changed

I see euro car parts have offer with free oil filter on there triple qx oil.. is this any good?

What u guys suggest

Might want to take a look over here on someone using the QX stuff on a HDI.

I think generally people use Total ECS Oil for the HDIs with DPFs and Quartz for those without.

The total stuff is fairly reasonably priced in my opinion, so not really worth going for anything less than it.

I use Triple QX all the time, and literally use hundreds of litres a month, never had the slightest issue, and would stand by it any day.

I've just used the black Triple QX 5w-40 (low ash) this weekend, car is running quieter and smoother as a result. Last change was approx 10 months/7k ago, oil was consistency of water when it came out.
09 C5 X7 2.0Hdi Exclusive in Perla Nera black (the best colour) :wink:

I am right in thinking the enginte takes 4.7 litres?

Sounds about right to me, i have a little left of the 5 litre bottle.

Well when euro decide to deliver will get oil changed and filter done over the weekend..
