If you're having to replace the whole length, might as well go for a catless pipe. I'm trying to remember where I got mine from as it wasn't much.

i seem to remember ( thats a novelty ) someone on here saying a straight through pipe is not readily available for the HDI's, like it is for the TD's

I've fitted an aftermarket exhaust to my 110 ....The cat is smaller and mid pipe is without silencer...much better performance

i asked my MOT tester yesterday regarding the requirements for a cat to be in place on a diesel,
he said they would not fail it for the cat missing, as they dont test cats on diesels yet

Little update on this one, incase it helps someone else?

I bought from GSF in Derby a full manifold back system (including CAT) and fixing rubbers and clamps for £135.00 approx. It was a well made system and I was happy with the quality, it has now been fitted and the car is lovely and quiet with good performance (for an HDi 90). I believe the systems are the same for 1.9 XUD and 2.0HDi from the manifold back according to the parts lady at GSF.

The car itself has been fantastic as a family car, it's just about to click 160k, it's had a recent timing belt, new suspension/brake pipes (solid lines) new spheres all round including accumalator and anti-sink spheres, new tyres, rent and and MOT til Feb2014. Just need to keep sticking Diesel in and 600 plus miles per tank is pretty awesome. Most of the major stuff is sorted and I'll not be getting rid of this car in a hurry!
