Fairly, it has two bulbs in the back, one of them has gone.

I think the display just pops out if you lever it, I think the bulb is a special one, I put an ordinary panel lamp in mine, it works but is not as bright as the other side.

Halfords, among others have the bulbs.
The display pops out with a couple of slim but blunt knives or spatula-like instruments.

Will do mine one day.

There are four securing tabs, two top two bottom. If you gently prise up the bottom two you can then pull away the whole surround. The display is held in by two torx screws, undo them and you can then access the twist fit bulbs (3) to change them. Refit is the opposite of removal but be careful of the TrafficMaster led bulb which has a ridiculously short wire

Will have a look the weekend.

Car is parked on a main road and very busy in week with people bouncing past at break beck speed.

Any idea what bulbs these are and will grab some off good old ebay

Can't remember what bulbs they are from memory, but no problem with driving the car without the display so just go to your local motor factors and hand over the bulb for a match.
