Post by zs&tas »

its throwing that blimin depollution warning -
it is allways hard to start, lumpy idle at first, drives fine lots of power, idles fine once started and going.
consistently a pain to start though (beter warm but still a pain) and occasionally throwing that warning up.
any ideas ?
ive herd it worth clearing out the egr?

You need to get it on a Lexia to see what it thinks is wrong.

Hate to say it, but my mate had similar trouble and never got to bottom of it - he auctioned it after it melted the DPF

It's a bit 'chicken and egg'.
Failed attempts to start are likely to trigger the warning anyway, so may be misleading.
