I am getting 43.8 on a 36 mile round trip each day with avg speed of 36mph, more B than A roads
Volvo S80 D5.........
C5 2.2HDi Exclusive 2003 manual (now gone).
2009 Renault Megane, the misses drive.
Had a 1988 BX 19TRS Auto many moons ago.
Forgive any spelling mistakes, it's the phone not me.

If you're only driving in the city and stop/starting at lights all the time then possibly, which to be fair if you're using a V6 for city driving then you really have the wrong car. If you're doing open road the majority of the time then at least 30mpg is doable without much effort at all.
