what valves mate

turbo and egr valve if you look at it so both nipples for vacume pipes on it are pointing right ,one nearer to you is out feed (giving vacume to turbo ot egr)
far one is permanent vac infeed from pump
both are same valves if you have 2.2 hdi elecrovalves 2 valves for inlet flaps are same tipe valves
swirl flap ev is a difrent tipe of valve and cant be used or swaped with any othere valve

just make sure you got right conection as far as i know blue (egr)
white,gray turbo ev
and folow pipe down to make sure you conect right think to right valve
as i done it before where i conected vac pipe down to turbo on to egr outfeed
hope it helps

Remember on the turbo no vac = max boost. If you disconnect the vac pipe to the turbo and drive the car anything a bit spirited should bring up asp/asr anti-pollution fault and limp mode, this is because the turbo will / should have overboosted.
Also bear in mind that the control voltage to the EV's is a pulse width modulated signal i.e the valves open in a proportional manner depending on the time volts are applied against the time that the volts are 0. Reading 10.45 volts with a multimeter tells you that they are open to some degree exactly how much I would'nt like to say but probably more than 50%.
I note from your sig it says good on fuel now what do you call good? and what did you do to it?

What did you do to improve your mpg,? I'm still getting only 30 mpg. Considering a v6 as it would be more economical.

Thanks for the reply, I will have to give it a try. If it hasn't already been answered, the electrovalves have a white mark by one of the outlets, this corresponds with a white ring on one of the two pipes connected to it.
