Re: one for Jim
Malc, Jim is not alone in appreciating the finess of some of the Citroen designers and technicians. Shame PSA and Citroen did not have the jojones to follow Andre Citroen's lead in making technically innovative cars, irrespective of market trends. There are always going to be a few oddballs willing to buy something qwerky and out of the ordinary.
If they had made these cars, they would still be streets ahead in terms of style and miles away from the current design trends for making increasing ugly plastic boxes on wheels.

They did make innovative cars. It nearly spelt the end of Citroen in the 70s.... a good job they were rescued when they were and slowly bought more mainstream with the AX/BX/Xantia/ZX or the company would no longer exist.handyman wrote:Malc, Jim is not alone in appreciating the finess of some of the Citroen designers and technicians. Saab continued making cars only a few oddballs wanted way longer than they should have done... where are they now?
