inner tyre wear on both front wheels

hi all i have inner wear on both front tyres and found wishbone bush and balljoint worn on drivers side but found nothing worn on the pass side.would the bad bush and ballj affect the opposite side?? thanks sean

Short answer, yes it could.

With worn components the wheel on that side is likely to be pointing in the wrong direction. This tends to make the car veer or wander to one side, you will automatically turn the wheel slightly to correct this resulting in both front wheels being turned relative to the direction of travel of the vehcle and scrubbing the tyres. Too much toe in will cause the outer edges of the tyres to wear, too much toe out will wear the inner edges.

only tracking out can/will cause both tyres to wear exactly the same,

play in any component on just one side will not affect/wear the tyre on the other side at all

i would sort the play in the components on the one side, then get the tracking adjusted
